Our Mission
Learning Through Play
At Kern Kids Academy, we believe children grow best when they feel safe, known, and loved. Through play, exploration, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences, children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, discover new possibilities, and build confidence in what they can do.
Each day offers opportunities to create, build, explore, solve problems, enjoy music and stories, and discover early math and science concepts. Our teachers thoughtfully shape experiences around children’s interests and developmental needs, valuing the process of discovery just as much as the finished product.
As children grow, they build trusting relationships, independence, communication skills, and the confidence to navigate big feelings, make choices, solve problems, and make room for others. We help every child learn to notice people, welcome others, try new things, and care for the community around them.
Our hope is that every child leaves Kern Kids Academy with a strong sense of belonging, confidence to keep growing, and a foundation for making a positive difference in the world. Belong. Grow. Make.

At Kern Kids Academy, our staff is committed to caring for every child as if they were one of our own. Our qualified, caring team creates a safe, nurturing environment where children feel known, loved, and encouraged to grow. Through meaningful relationships, thoughtful guidance, and opportunities to explore and learn, we help every child build confidence, discover new possibilities, and develop a strong sense of belonging. We believe caring for children means making room for their unique personalities, celebrating their growth, and helping them build a foundation for what comes next.

Opening Spring 2027!
Kern Kids Academy is preparing to open in late March or early April 2027! We’re excited to welcome children and families into a nurturing community where every child can belong, grow, and make a strong foundation for the future. We’re currently building our pre-registration waitlist for families interested in joining us.
