This August, Kern Church is focusing on what it means to love where we live — at the table, in the church, and for the city.

God has placed us in real communities, among real people, in a real season of life. Our neighborhoods, networks, church, schools, workplaces, and city are not accidental. They are places where love can take root.

Take the challenge: We are challenging every person to take one concrete step toward community. Invite someone to your table. Meet another family at the park. Ask someone from church to lunch. Host neighbors for coffee. Join a group. Include someone new.

It does not have to be impressive. It just has to be intentional.
